Education

AIHce provides a wealth of knowledge and expertise through a varied array of quality, peer-reviewed presentations. A diverse menu of formats, including general sessions, lectures, lunch discussions, roundtables, podium and poster sessions, and pre-conference Professional Development Courses (PDCs), provides multiple pathways to learning.

AIHA Fall Conference​​

AIHA’s 2015 Fall Conference is all about sharing solutions and networking to promote worker health and safety. Taking place at the Hyatt Regency Orlando on October 26 and 27, AIHA presents an intimate and collaborative environment for IH/OH professionals of all levels. From students and young professionals to the most experienced, attendees will learn new strategies, gather to network, and get a first-hand look at the future of industrial hygiene. 

Industry experts and senior professionals will continue to find quality educational opportunities through AIHA’s Professional Development Courses, offered before and after the conference. Intensive, hands-on workshops during the conference provide new approaches to situations and technologies that are relevant in today’s modern workplace. We are offering 15 in-depth pre- and post-conferenceProfessional Development Courses; informative discussions on OELs, nanomaterials, sensor technology, and the future of IH; five structured learning tracks; organized networking opportunities; and once-in-a-lifetime tours of Disney World and CSX Rail.

AIHA BC-Yukon Local Section AGM

The AIHA BC Yukon Local Section is pleased to announce that the 2015 Conference and Annual General Meeting will take place on March 27th, 2015, at the Delta Grand Villa Burnaby Hotel and Conference Center. Join us for the Local Section’s annual premier professional development event with an informative and exciting panel of expert speakers. The event will also provide you with an opportunity to connect with vendors, suppliers, and network with old and new colleagues. 

Safety, ergonomics, environmental, public health and industrial hygiene professionals are welcome to attend. The AIHA BC Yukon Local Section is a non-profit professional association dedicated to the promotion, alliance and professional development of industrual hygiene and safety within the Yukon and BC, and includes professionals from across North America. 

The contact time for maintenance points for CIH or CRSP at the conference is 5.0 hours. 

The venue for this year’s AGM is the gorgeous Delta Grand Burnaby Hotel and Conference Centre, located at 4331 Dominion Street in Burnaby. Free parking is available in both the South and East parking lots.

  • Jeff Lyth & Hugh Davies – “The “Silica Compliance Tool” for construction”

  • Member Regular $150 (Early-Bird $125)
  • Non-Member Regular $175 (Early-Bird $150)
