By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
- Identify the ROI on the implementation of proactive ergonomics program,
- Understand the current evidence driving work station design and set up,
- Identify the myths and realities of implementing sit-to-stand work stations,
- Utilize a validated checklist to prioritize when a changes need to be made, and
- Understand current strategies that can be used to reduce costs associated with operating an office ergonomics program.

All organizations have staff working within office environments. As work becomes more sedentary in nature, the need for good work station set up is even more critical. The need to control costs has limited many office ergonomics programs to being reactive in nature limiting their overall effectiveness.
This full day workshop highlights the current literature and evidence to support the implementation of an effective, proactive office ergonomics program. The sessions will highlight the return on investment (ROI) when work stations are designed to accommodate the needs of employees.
