Protecting Your Personal Information
Certain processes available on this website are used to collect personal information such as “Become a Member”, “Update Your Profile”, “Course or Conference Registration”, etc. AIHA-AB collects no personal information about you unless you choose to provide that information to us. Any personally identifiable data about customers or website visitors is stored securely and used only for the purpose for which it is provided to us.
Payment Data Collection

Sharing your Personal Information
AIHA-AB do not sell, trade, or rent personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, sponsors, potential sponsors and other parties to help them better understand AIHA-AB members and their interests.
Such aggregate information is used to give AIHA-AB demographic data about its members in order to improve the organization and the programs and services we provide.
AIHA-AB may use third-party service providers to help us operate the Association, the AIHA-AB website and/or administer activities on our behalf. These activities may include but are not limited to sending out newsletters, surveys or polls. AIHA-AB may share your information with these third parties for those limited purposes provided that you have not opted out of receiving communications. In the event that you have opted out of receiving communications from the AIHA-AB, you may receive a message as it pertains to bylaws and other such regulatory announcements defined by the Board and/or National Office as necessary communication.
The information you provide to AIHA-AB – such as your name, address, etc. – allows AIHA-AB to inform you about events and activities and to notify you about issues, events or special offers which may be of interest to you. By becoming a member or by requesting information or registering for events or courses offered by AIHA-AB, you are giving AIHA-AB permission to contact you by way of the information you provide. Members may choose not to be contacted by AIHA-AB – please contact Membership director.
Children and Privacy
AIHA-AB has no intention of collecting personally identifying information from children (i.e., individuals under the age of 13). If a child has provided us with personally identifiable information, AIHA Alberta Local Section asks that a parent or guardian of the child contact AIHA Alberta Local Section via email if they would like the information submitted by a child deleted from our database. AIHA Alberta Local Section will use reasonable efforts to delete such information from its database.
The operating system for the AIHA-AB website may automatically record some general information about your visit, such as:
